Charity Sector - The Ramblers

Glencairn Consulting were engaged by The Ramblers, a charity whose goal is to protect the ability of people to enjoy the sense of freedom and benefits that come from being outdoors on foot and are based in London to provide Architectural guidance on a major IT and Business Change requirement. The Ramblers are a large national charity and as such have delivered IT through a wide mix of solutions. Whilst these deliver, there was no strategic view on where the organisation was to move towards within the next 3- 5 years. Glencairn Consulting were brought on board to provide an initial analysis of the current systems and deliver the strategic direction for IT and Business processes for 5 year term. The project is currently in the discovery phase.

Charity Sector - The Sussex Beacon

Glencairn Consulting were engaged by The Sussex Beacon, a HIV charity based in Brighton to provide Architectural guidance on a major IT and Business Change requirement. The Beacon are a growing charity and as such have delivered IT through a make do model. Whilst this delivers the current solutions in house, there was no strategic view on where the organisation was to move towards within the next 3- 5 years. Glencairn Consulting were brought on board to provide an initial analysis of the current systems and deliver the strategic direction for both IT and Business processes for 5 year term. The solutions looked into included provision of an online MS CRM 2015 solution with a Not for Profit snap in delivering donation, fundraising and marketing capacity from one seamless application. Combined with the migration to MS Office 365 these two changes were seen as a major enabler for provision of flexible working practices and streamlining manual processes relating to Donations and Fundraising. The project is currently in Pilot scheme of delivery.

Public Sector - Ordnance Survey

Glencairn Consulting were engaged by the Ordnance Survey to deliver a strategy around CRM solutions. The project involved an analysis of the current OS systems and gathering requirements form Sales Director relating to a modern transparent sales requirement. The strategy focused and delivered a MS CRM 2015 Online solution. The Standard sales process was adopted as git for purpose and together with use of MS Office 365 was piloted as a solution to the UK Sales Teams. The strategy was handed over and a MS Gold Partner selected to deliver the future development as required by OS.

Public Sector - Rural Payments Agency

Glencairn Consulting were engaged by the Rural Payments Agency, part of DEFRA to deliver a new CRM solution for in house use. RPA are the payment agency for European Common Agricultural Policy agreement within UK. As such the organisation have a large customer base of Farmers throughout the UK and require to keep track of all Customer details, manage communications and interact with the customer at all levels./span>
The initial CRM project was to architecturally design and deliver a CRM for one subset of operations around the Complaints & Appeals process. Glencairn Consulting delivered the strategic solution and physical deployment of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 in association with a MS Gold Partner. The solution was rolled out on premise across the RPA 6 regional offices. At the same time a Master Data Management project was kicked off and Glencairn Consulting stepped in to deliver the strategic Architecture for MDM using VisionWare MultiVue application. The RPA required to manage one single Golden Record of its customer and through MDM successfully delivered a cost saving solution. MDM was integrated directly into CRM via the MS BizTalk application whereby updates were transferred on a message bus platform and subscribing application would be delivered new and updated information.
The CRM project grew considerably through the CAP 2015 deployment via DEFRA and a decision on Architectural guidance was delivered to move to CRM 2015 on premis solution providing greater Performance and flexibility to RPA.
The overall CRM + MDM project was a major enabler to deliver the CAP 2015 Policy through DEFRA to EU standards.
